My Review: This is a wonderful way to teach the lessons of Easter to young kids! The little girl in the story is full of life and love. Through her kindness to her grouchy neighbour, he comes to understand how much Jesus loves even him. Each page also has a bible verse along with some discussion ideas for parents who want to add even more conversation to the story. It also includes instructions for how to make your own "flowering cross", which is all about thanking Jesus for his love for us. We have read this story numerous times already (sometimes multiple times each day), so it is obviously a hit with kids too. And the timing of reading it is perfect as Easter is not very far away.
